EYFS Unit 17 Securing and Using Number facts

This unit is an opportunity to revisit number facts and use them to solve problems.

There are no Manageable steps as such, but just a suggested focus for each day to explore ways of adding or subtracting to solve problems. 

There are some photocopiable images for you to use to create your own problems or to encourage the children to explore their own problems.

The unit is based on the theme 'It's Magic' and uses the book Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson as a possible stimulus for contious provision activities, but obviously the suggestions can be altered to fit your theme.

Unit membership is valid until the 31^st July 2023. ALL the downloadable resources are intended for you to keep forever, so please download any PDFs you need before this date. Access to online videos will be revoked at the end of the academic year -  after 31st July 2023.
