We understand that it is important for you to have clear, professional guidance from experts,
and we want to give you that support.
The CanDoMaths Team provide ongoing leadership support throughout the academic year including online LeadMeets for subject and senior leaders; online weekly support with our Q&A sessions; and Planning Podcasts - Steve Lomax and Liz Hopkins share their thoughts for the term ahead.
A large suite of resources specifically designed to support you and your colleagues with planning and teaching each manageable step. At CanDoMaths we don't provide Powerpoints or 'plug-and-play' planning resources.
Instead, what we do supply, is a collection of resources that provide a springboard for each teacher to apply their own insight and creativity to the lesson. Every year group has thoroughly thought through Manageable Steps for every unit, and our Maths Mastery Matrix gives you carefully crafted suggestions for ‘What it is', 'what it is also', 'what it is not' and a problem to solve for each manageable step Y1 to Y6.
The hugely popular Subject Expertise videos support you in the conceptual understanding, key manipulatives and models for each unit, and the Vocabulary booklet suggests generalised or stem sentences and key vocabulary you might say and hear during the lesson. Everything you need to aim for all your learners to be successful.
...And loads more!!
We have pulled together the best CanDoMaths resources for supporting your maths improvement journey for this academic year.
