EYFS Unit 16 Distributing Equally

This unit has 3 manageable steps for distributing equally.

The Manageable steps are designed to explore distributing equally, notiicing relationships and using represntations. They will support your planning to help the children really secure a deep understanding of distributing equally.

For each manageable step there is a suggested 'what it is' and often a sentence you and the children may want to say to engage with the learning.

There is a 'what it is not' where Colin the CanDo Caribou or Coco the CanDo Cockatoo have a misconception for you to address. This is also available as a short video. (Videos will be available two weeks before the unit is due to be taught.)

The unit is based on the theme 'It's Magic' and uses the book The Trouble With Dragons by Debbie Gliori as a possible stimulus for contious provision activities, but obviously the suggestions can be altered to fit your theme.

Unit membership is valid until the 31^st July 2023. ALL the downloadable resources are intended for you to keep forever, so please download any PDFs you need before this date. Access to online videos will be revoked at the end of the academic year -  after 31st July 2023.
